Sarah Granberg, LCSW, C-MT
Sarah is an Independent Contractor.  She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Music Therapist.  She is working toward her Certification in Alcohol and Drug Counseling under the supervision of Betty Heck.  She received her Bachelors degree in Music therapy from the University of Evansville in 1999 and her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern Indiana in 2004. Sarah has experience in the in-patient, partial hospitalization, and intensive out-patient treatment settings. She works well with all ages. She lives in Bardstown, Kentucky. 
Women's PTSD & Panic Group (Posttraumatic Stress Disorder) This group meets weekly for 12 weeks.  It is a therapy group that provides confidential support no matter what your trauma has been.  It also provides education about the disorder, biophysiology, treatments, coping skills, and much more.  This is covered by most insurances.  The group is co-led by Betty Heck, LCSW, CADC III.  We work along with and out of The PTSD Workbook.

 
         A. Six years of experience in inpatient psychiatric hospitals working with:
             1.   Children and adolescents with mental illness and behavior disorders, history of abuse, substance abuse/dependence
             2. Adults with substance abuse/dependence, mental illness, history of trauma
             3. Concurrent experience in Intensive Outpatient Program for chemical dependency
             4. Concurrent experience as Program Director of adolescent partial hospitalization program
         B. Two years of experience in the in-home and in-school settings with the Impact Plus Program
         C.   One year in the outpatient setting
Sarah specializes in the treatment of behavioral problems and brain disorders in children and adolescents.  She also specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders, trauma and abuse recovery, depression, eating disorders, and substance abuse and dependency.
